Welcome to Old Water View Restaurant and Accommodation in Patterdale, The Lake District

Situated in the delightful village of Patterdale, and surrounded by some of Lakeland's most magnificent scenery, Old Water View has been welcoming visitors as a bed and breakfast for over 100 years.

Restaurant

We have a fully licensed Restaurant, serving quality locally sourced food and a fine selection of wines and beers including our own Real Ales and our own lager. All our food is freshly prepared and offered at a very reasonable cost. Advance booking would be appreciated, so please contact us for further details. Accommodation

Accommodation is offered on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis. We have six superb guest bedrooms available, all with excellent facilities and magnificent views of the surrounding area. Prices quoted are for the B&B portion of your stay and all other meals are chosen and priced from our extensive Restaurant menu. Please see our accommodation page for more details. In addition we have a superb guest lounge, extensive gardens, and a range of other guest facilities.  We also have ample private guest car parking space available.

Our Location

We are situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, in Patterdale close to Ullswater and Helvellyn, and within easy reach of Windermere, Ambleside and all the main towns and villages of the Lakes. Ideal for hill walkers, the sailing crowd, or those simply looking to relax and unwind and soak up the views. We are also located on the famous Coast to Coast walking route, and indeed Old Water View was a favourite both with Alfred Wainwright, and with Julia Bradbury, who visited whilst filming her recent Coast 2 Coast series. Wedding Venue
